Summer Reading helps our learners read and learn all summer! This helps keep their skills up – and have fun. When kids stop reading, they actually lose some of what they learned over the school year. This is called the "summer slide." We strive to give our learners a reason to keep reading and encourage them to read what they like best. We hope to hold off the "summer slide" and keep them ready for continued learning in the fall.
