The Bible says Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 19:14).

God loves his children and enjoys hearing them praying. It is our responsibility here at Emmanuel Christiain Academy, as servants, to teach His Children to pray during their early years, to teach them how to address God in prayer with reverence, to teach them how to communicate and have a relationship with God. We teach the children using the prayer format of ACTS; Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. The concert of prayer is held every first Wednesday of month during Chapel, singing and praying out loud at the same time lifting up voices in harmony of words to a Great Forgiving, Generous, and Compassionate God.

Our Preschool classrooms are learning about community helpers. Thank you to Lieutenants Langston and JA. Layne from Station 4 of the Akron Fire Department who came and shared what firefighters do for our community. Our early learners were so excited for the opportunity to touch the parts of the engine and drive it too! #WeAreEmmanuel #extraordinaryearlyeducation

Today was the 17th annual Fathers Walk. We were encouraged by all the fathers/fatherly figured who symbolically walked their children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews or siblings to school today. Thank you for your support as we continue to Educate our Children in the Spirit of Excellence #WeAreEmmanuel

On Friday our Preschool and Elementary students explored Ramseyer Farm in Wooster. The students each got to pick their own pumpkin and learned about the life cycle of the pumpkins. We also talked about other crops grown there, local wildlife and flowers. Thank you to all the chaperone who helped make the first field trip a success! #WeAreEmmanuel #ExceptionalElementary #ExtraordinaryEarlyEducation
