Our History

In 1993, ten people came together who shared a vision for establishing a Christian school that would be committed to academic excellence and by a blessing, The House of the Lord® church generously offered its facilities to Emmanuel Christian Academy.

In August 1994, Emmanuel Christian Academy (ECA), a school where knowledge is integrated with the light of God's word, opened its doors. ECA is accredited by the State of Ohio as an elementary school and middle school serving students from age 4 (Pre-Kindergarten) through Grade 8.

Our program is centered in the Word of God as the basis of all truth and our administration, faculty, and staff members are dedicated Christians who love and the Lord and our students. It is our desire to see our children "grow up in the fear and admonition of the Lord" and be "equipped for every good work." ECA is also a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) because we are committed to educating and equipping our students with the standards exemplified by this organization.
