The 2013-2014 academic year ended with great reward for Emmanuel students and staff. At the 2014 ACSI Conference, Emmanuel’s art department took best of show with 28 entries, three white ribbons, 13 red ribbons and 12 blue ribbons. Vivian Sharpey, whose design is featured in this article, won best of show while Cori Harper and Nichelle Mosley were runners-up.
Our teachers and staff remain committed to academic excellence. During the 2013-2014 school year, Principal Suber and four teachers received a reading endorsement certification, which enhances educators’ ability to teach students how to read and comprehend at a higher level.
