Akron, Ohio (January 18, 2016) – Emmanuel's Creative Arts Program to perform at various locations on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We invite you to join us as we celebrate the life and work of Dr. King during the following programs. Beginning at 7:30am, Emmanuel's Choir will participate in the Akron Urban League's Annual MLK Jr. Celebration. Held at 440 Vernon Odom Blvd, the cost of this event is $15.00. At 9:00am, the Emmanuel's Choir and Drama Clubs will participate in a Celebration presented by and at the University Park YMCA (477 E. Market St.), in collaboration with Summa Health System. At 11:30 am, Drama and Choir clubs will perform at the Western Reserve Hospital (1900 23rd St., Cuyahoga Falls, 44223). Join us as our students commemorate the life, ministry and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through song, recitation of his most famous speeches and drama.
