Standing in the Gap:

At Emmanuel Christian Academy, we believe it is the sacred responsibility of Christ’s disciples to support urban Christian schools—especially in communities where hope can feel distant. Children in these neighborhoods deserve the opportunity to study God’s Word, to know Christ as Savior, and to be taught by Christian educators who believe in their God-given potential and hold high expectations for their academic success.

We are prayerfully seeking generous partners who will stand with us in our pursuit of excellence in education. Emmanuel is a powerful work of God, uniquely positioned to meet the educational challenges faced by children living in poverty in Akron, Ohio. Yet, we find ourselves at a critical crossroads, with significant needs that must be met to continue moving forward.

Annual Fund: Bridging the Gap

Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of an Emmanuel education. Our Annual Fund bridges this gap, ensuring we can continue to educate our children in the Spirit of Excellence.

To stay on track with our three-year plan, we must raise the following by December 31, 2025

  • Funding Gap per Student: $2,380
  • Number of Students: 190
  • Total Needed: $452,235

Your gift—no matter the size—makes a tangible difference:

  • Support 1 student: $2,380
  • Support 2 students: $4,760
  • Support 4 students: $9,520
  • Support 10 students: $23,800

A Spiritual Foundation

“Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.” — Proverbs 11:25 (ESV)

We invite you to prayerfully consider joining us in this mission. Your partnership helps us continue educating students in the Spirit of the Lord—equipping them not only for academic success, but for lives of purpose, faith, and leadership.
