God gives each child a unique handprint with five fingers and special talents to make a lasting impression on their community and the world. That is why we are launching the “High-Five” Campaign to encourage and support the children of Emmanuel Christian Academy. “High-Five” is a gesture that means “way to go” and celebrates their accomplishments no matter how large or small.
With over two-thirds of our students living at or below poverty level, we have budgeted $90,000 this school year to help these students attend ECA. Otherwise, they would not be able to attend without support from donors or our development efforts. Just as the African proverb states, “it takes a village to raise a child,” it takes the entire ECA Community to raise funds for our children.
Here’s how you can help and be a part of the “High-Five” Campaign . . .
Donate $55 or whatever you are able to give by December 31, 2013 in support of ECA’s Tuition Scholarship Fund. Every contribution is greatly appreciated.
Your name or family name will be posted on a handprint on our bulletin board to show that you’re a “High-Five” supporter. You can also make a donation in the name of your business.
The High-Five Campaign officially kicks off on Grandparents' Day — Wednesday, September 11, 2013.
