While students are enjoying their day off, teachers and staff members at Emmanuel Christian Academy concluded in their final installment of Dr. Johnny Reed's Project Heal Inc. This organization helps change the conversation around mental health and expands on the ideals surrounding trauma, coping, and personal wellness. We are so grateful for the opportunity to learn and activate new skills around building healthy relationships, learning experiences, and student-brain development.
As we move beyond being trauma informed and enter into a healing centered environment, we are excited to apply our new skillsets within and beyond our school.
Spring Break is Monday, April 6 - Friday, April 10, 2026 during which our Early Education Center will remain open!

On Friday March 27th we experienced such an amazing night of recognition for both students and community members who were acknowledged during the 36th Annual Judge Harold K. Stubbs awards celebration. This ceremony was hosted by St Paul AME Church. Congratulations to all of the recipients!

Ohio State Testing: What Families Need to Know
As we enter the spring season, we are grateful for the growth, resilience, and joy we continue to see in our students each day. This time of year also brings our annual standardized testing sessions, and we want to ensure that every family feels informed, supported, and encouraged as we walk through this process together.
State achievement tests tell us how well our students are growing in the knowledge and skills outlined in Ohio’s Learning Standards. These tests help guide and strengthen future teaching so we can be sure that we are preparing our students for long-term success in school, college, careers and life.
At Emmanuel Christian Academy, we believe that academic excellence and spiritual formation work hand in hand. State assessments are one of the many tools we use to understand how our students are progressing and how we can continue to strengthen their learning experience. Students will conclude their testing by Tuesday, March 31, 2026. #WeAreEmmanuel
