ECA ECamp Flea Market

Emmanuel Christian Academy Entrepreneurship Camp (E-Camp) participants.

Emmanuel’s E-Camp, sponsored by The Burton D. Morgan Foundation, promotes entrepreneurial education and exposure to the concepts of financial literacy. The camp culminates with campers presenting their business plans to community businessmen and businesswomen.

Over 50 youth participating in this year’s program will have their first entrepreneurship opportunity of the camp as they set up a flea market in two locations in West Akron.

The flea market offers campers a platform to raise startup cash for their businesses. Items for sale include sports memorabilia, novelties, clothes and other nonperishable goods.
